They say life is like a rollercoaster, but if you suffer from vertigo, life may feel more like the Turkish Twist.
At Balance, we know that living like you’re getting off a spinning amusement park ride isn’t as fun as it sounds. Vertigo is disruptive and dangerous. If you’ve fallen in the last 12 months, you know this. Having difficulty walking or standing, and using a cane, walker, or crutches depletes your quality of life. You shouldn’t have to struggle walking on cobblestones or brick pathways. You shouldn’t have to suffer dizziness while driving or walking in a crowded area or have difficulty maintaining your balance during normal daily activities.
If you have more than three chronic health conditions (heart disease, lung disease, diabetes, neuropathy, high blood pressure, arthritis, osteoporosis, etc.), if you’ve been diagnosed with dizziness, benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV), imbalance, and unsteady gait, unilateral vestibular loss (vestibular neuritis or acoustic neuroma), bilateral vestibular loss (gentamicin toxicity), post-traumatic vertigo, or have suffered a stroke or brain injury, then our Balance and Vestibular Rehabilitation can help you!
