COVID-19 UPDATE
With cases of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) still spreading throughout our state and country, we want you to know that the safety of our patients, staff and community remain our top priority. Currently, our offices in Goffstown and Windham remain closed except for seeing those with acute injuries, post-operative, and those where hands-on therapy is required to regain function and mobility.
PROTECTIVE MEASURES:
PRIOR TO YOUR VISIT
- New patients will be asked the following questions:
- Have you traveled outside of New Hampshire within the last 14 days?
- Have you been in contact with someone that has traveled outside of New Hampshire in the last 14 days?
- Do you have a cough, fever or shortness of breath?
- Any patient who develops any of these signs or symptoms during their course of PT should NOT come to therapy and should notify our office of these symptoms.
ENTERING THE BUILDING
- All patients will be asked to call the office, ring the doorbell or knock upon arrival to request entry.
- We are mandating the use of hand sanitizer before entering, provided at the front door
- We will call you or approve your entry when we are ready for you to enter.
- ALL PATIENTS ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR A MASK BEFORE ENTERING THE OFFICE.
- We ask that you bring your own but if you do not have one, Balance Physical Therapy will provide you with one to keep and reuse at each appointment.
- We ask that only patients enter for their appointment if possible and family members refrain from entering in order to reduce exposure.
DURING YOUR VISIT
- Please wash your hands in the sink once checked in
- Please maintain a 10 foot radius between you and other patients or staff unless being worked on by your therapist
- Only 1 person at the front desk at a time
- Family members, please refrain from waiting in the reception area. Wait in your car or in seats provided outside the office
- Masks should be worn at all times unless approved by the therapist during your workout.
- Use hand sanitizer frequently, placed throughout the office, after touching equipment.
WHAT OUR STAFF IS DOING
- Any employee that is experiencing cough, fever or shortness of breath will not be allowed to come into work.
- Employees will not shake hands with other employees/patients and use the 6 feet social distancing recommendation.
- All employees performing close contact with patients are required to use a face mask.
- All staff is required to wash their hands before and after treating each patient.
- All equipment used before and after each patient is being sanitized.
- Door handles, countertops and other surfaces being used throughout the office are being cleaned once per hour during operation.
