
Mary Calderan, PT
Mary earned her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Northeastern University in 1984 and went on to complete her Doctor of Physical Therapy at the University of New England in 2011. With over 40 years of experience in the field, Mary brings a deep and diverse background to her practice, having worked in a wide range of rehabilitation settings including chronic pain clinics, private practices, health clubs, and schools.
Her clinical expertise spans treatment of complex musculoskeletal and neurological conditions, including traumatic brain injuries. Mary has continually advanced her manual therapy skills through extensive continuing education, and holds certifications in both Dry Needling and the Graston Technique®. She has a particular passion for treating dysfunctions of the spine, neck, temporomandibular joint (TMJ), back, sacroiliac joint, and shoulder.
In addition to her clinical work, Mary has contributed to the profession through academic and scholarly pursuits. She has been published in Orthopedic Physical Therapy Practice and has served as a faculty member in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Franklin Pierce University.
Outside of the clinic, Mary enjoys an active lifestyle with her husband Mark. Together, they spend their free time skiing at Sunday River, ski-joring, and hiking with their husky, Reka.
